blissful monday

6:45 PM

(because there's no work!)

haha can't believe i'm already dreading work!
sigh.. c'est la vie.

anyways i just made myself lunch - white asparagus w/ ham & hollandaise sauce!
i think i'm in love w/ the hollandaise sauce - it tastes like corn soup!!!
i'm mixing it with rice and ham right now :x just 'cause i'm still hungry :p

my legs still feel sore from walking yesterday!
totally spent more time on the train than actually touring; but that's the price i have to pay if i don't want to spend too much money on commuting...

the wuerzburg residence is really impressive though! &i am so glad that i did attend the tour because it made the trip so much more worth it; hearing about the history and stories behind the architecture was mesmerizing, &certainly allowed me to better appreciate the building.

beautiful weather... but horrible photo-taking skills of mine D: my hands kept shaking! &i didn't notice when i was inspecting the photos then because of the glaring sunlight.. ):

the region is also famous for its wine...
but i'm already lonely enough; don't really want to drink alone :x

i adore how it is easy to travel around in germany - unlike in the states.. where you can't really just hop on the train and go to another state (is there even an interstate train for human beings and not goods? ohwells :/). if not, i could be doing so much more traveling!

during the train ride, we went past several wine-growing fields and there were people cycling leisurely... felt too good to be true & for the first time in my life i actually wished that i could cycle better. it's such a relaxing idea to cycle in the countryside through the fields, and stop at a random brewery to have a hearty meal*
divine
Then let our trial teach us patience.
