flying to san fran in 8 hours (((: sorry for the emo posts, things are fine now - i've figured things out at last. just being the slow me as usual (:
finals in about 4 hours, so i'm mugging now >< yea i know, so last minute. but if i don't do this i wouldn't even feel like studying at all - especially after my disastrous (yet funny) lab practical.
so we were supposed to perform a precipitation reaction, and dry the residue by heating it. &i found it so weird that my sample wasn't drying even after 20 minutes. then when the TA said, "you guys have 5 minutes left!" i got worried and i checked my heater (a lil' too late!) and realized that it's not even plugged. IT WASN'T EVEN ON DAMN IT.
so i just measured my wet sample anyway and got a 334% yield. it's so stupid but i explained it in my report and hopefully we are graded on how good we deal with a situation and explaining what we should do in future, and not how crappy our results turned out to be.
enough on that - i should srsly get back to my books >< xoxo
