viva las vegas
12:30 PM
school's starting tomorrow, can't be more anxious.
sis' already looking forward to the next break between summer session I and II.
trip to vegas was amazing despite the unexpected chilly weather. i love love love Bellagio's bathroom & swimming pool, wouldn't mind staying there for a second time!
also watched the phantom at Venetian, totally taken away by the stage effects and music. sis and i both love the phantom most out of all the characters (the last scene brought tears to my eyes).
as for the food, lets just say according to Bellagio's trusty digital weighing machine i have gained 1 pound. &yes, to anyone who is thinking of visiting vegas, do dine at Eiffel Tower, go at night for the souffle. i mean, the maincourses are fab, but the prices are apalling, so if you are on a tight budget, just go for the souffle (USD15 before tax&tips), you won't be disappointed.
went a lil' crazy at the outlets, wish i had more mun-neh, haha. there's this juicy bag that both my sis and i fell in love with, but it's almost 200 bucks ): gah! but i did finally get a pair of denim shorts (((: happy happy happy, have been searching since, last november??
&i love the shops at the forum shop! they have DJs at every store remixing the music live ((((: cool cool cool! sis' bf took a photo of the DJ at Guess for me ((: didnt get my Guess heels cos i figured it's pretty impractical to buy 5-inch heels. gah, but i got a pair of sandals instead, so i guess i am still pretty much of a spendthrift.
actually, before the trip i got scolded by my mom for not wanting to go to the phantom, and instead just want to laze at the hotel. she was saying how she is sick of my material cravings and how our family doesnt own a bank so i should stop shopping as though i have no clothes to wear. she's like, now that you have the freedom you , behave like you deserve it, why do you always need others to tell you what to do...& went on to talk about how much a failure and idiot i am for using the wrong CD-rom to reboot my asus laptop.sighs, i'm trying, but you are not letting go. &it's just sad how you think i can face you without frustration right after you have reprimanded me. i know you care but sometimes human emotions don't work this way, and all of you just never get that.on a lighter note, i'd want to visit vegas with my future husband *happy happy happy* though people usually go there for bechalor/bechalorette's parties (or weddings), think it'll be a cool destination for a runaway (:
