school

pretty much as horrendous as it can possibly be.

it's not like, rocket-science-tough for my chem, it's just that i haven't touched it in half a year and everything has been erased off my brain the moment the chem o level paper ended. my professor is, very dedicated and detailed, but i'm still getting used to his polish accent. it sounds so german to me, and i was never good at comprehending german by listening.

my lab TA was nice, but the lab quizzes are driving me nuts. nothing in the textbook helps me with answering, and even google isn't helping me to find the concepts i want ): haha &i just returned my textbook yesterday, cos i've decided that i'm not going to read a textbook that has font and thickness of an encycopedia. great.

nowadays i bike to school, well it has been a brand new experience for me, since i rarely cycle, and those who have seen me cycle will know how much a hazzard i will be to other road-users. but thankfully i havent caused any accidents, since the streets here are really wide, and everyone abides by the traffic rules obediently (like a complete stop at the stop signs), so it's very bicycle-friendly here.

just that, i feel like after half a year of not-exercising, my stamina has dropped from low to a depressing negative. if i ride leisurely, i'll take 30 minutes to reach school. but if i try my best to keep up with all the other cyclists on the road, i.e. other students etc, i will totally fail, and the best i can do is like 15 minutes, and my legs don't feel like mine anymore -_- yeah i'm super unfit, but i'm sure it'll get better, since i'll have to bike everyday.

played squash with my sis yesterday, and i really suck at it. i can serve but not receive, but i had fun, hopefully it'll get better.

guess i'm like hoping a lot lately, but it gets frustrating if i don't try to stay optimistic.

&i need my old chem notes so badly ): gah.

Then let our trial teach us patience.
